Genethelen 28th, Mityaradras, 381 🌘

Sweltering, Clear, Gentle Wind

We decide to head to Siadanos to pick up commissioned armor. Along the way we encounter a band of 17 armored men whom we avoid. We also come across signs for a nearby village proclaiming a plague outbreak.

Vicelen 1st, Ammonadras, 382 🌑

Chilly, Clear, Gentle Wind

As we continue on our way we encounter 15 shepherds who hail us and ask if we would like to celebrate the new year with us. Valorian gives them each 1GP and not to be outdone, Mim gives them 1.33GP each. In the friendly discussions that are held over lunch, the reeve, Tavus Tarcolus says "There was a dwarven Cititel named azen kairn which lay deep in the mineri mountains which was buried by the dragon Orm." We thank them for their hospitality and continue on to Siadanos, arriving after dark. The city is busy with celebrations as we arrive. We immediately head to The Stone Tankard, in which we find 5 ecdysiast with castinets, 27 patrons, 3 prostitutes, and 4 guards. Mandonio greets us and begins clearing a table for us, nearly causing a fight. Barto comes over to quell the commotion until he sees Mim at which point he quickly clears the remaining customers from the table and calls in all kinds of food. Alphesus hires a prostitute, Valana. Aurelia has a friendly conversation with Mandonio, regaling him with tales of her exploits, but politely refuses any advances. After much carousing, we head back to the Roc Nest to rest. Alphesus gives the staff a GP each and they are given the night off to carouse as they please.

Very Chilly, Overcast, Strong Wind

Uthman and Titania pick up their armor from Radokh, and Aurelia commissions both a masterwork sword and masterwork leather armor. Mim requests spellbooks for "Call of the Wolf" and "Shatter Blade". We head out to the Temple.

Along the way we encounter a field which appears to be growing herbs, but as we are unfamiliar with nature, we are unable to take advantage of it.

Very Chilly, Clear, Gentle Wind

Along the way we realize that some of our rations spoil. We make it to the temple and make camp for the night.

Vicelen 4th, Istreudras, 382 🌑

Cold, Clear, Moderately Windy

We return to the room where we fought the gnolls and find them standing there - apparently reanimated. A brief fight is quickly turned by Mim and we hack them down without taking a scratch. We notice this time that they have black fang identifiers.

We decide to go after the carrion feeders. We attack them and they turn on us, attacking with unexpected speed. Their venom paralyzes Alphesus and Mim, but Titania is able to withstand the effect and we are able to slay them. Immediately we are attacked from behind by more gnolls - these with a red eye symbol. We kill them without incident.

Aurelia is able to extract the venom from the carrion feeders. The gnolls have some coins.

We continue exploring and several rooms later find more gnolls. After a protracted battle we slay them, but Mim is downed.
